Go on a Dog Friendly Walk

Mt Coot-tha Walk, and JC Slaughter Falls at Mt Coot-tha is dog friendly and frequented by fellow dog owners (Go from 6am in the morning while the day is cool) keep your eyes peeled for Aboriginal Art work on rocks.

Seven Hills Reserve is also busy from 6am with Pet Owners and their dogs.   The River Loop from Kangaroo Point Cliffs, down the stairs, then from Kangaroo Point to Southbank, over the Good Will bridge, then through the Botanical Gardens, up Ivory Street’s short Steep Hill, then over the Story Bridge to Bar Spritz overlooking the city for a water and a cool down. There are dog water bowls there too.

Make sure your doggo is wearing a life vest. Take your kayak and enter at the Colmslie Boat Ramp. (Wouldn’t recommend letting them swim in the water there, it’s been said bull sharks like that spot).

Sometimes Riverlife at Kangaroo Point have dog-friendly kayak hire events too if you don’t own a kayak.
