This Breakfast and Brunch restaurant in Moorooka is both dog and family friendly. Owned and operated by the Slinky Espresso crew, they specialise in gourmet coffee and fresh food at an affordable price. The café features a large outdoor seating area, with shade umbrellas and astro-turf for dogs to laze on, and they provide toys for tots to keep them entertained. So make sure that your dog is friendly with children if you want to go here. Also, remember that their kitchen closes at 12pm, but they usually still have select range of food in their fridge. Since 1997, Sassafras Canteen has had its doors open in Brisbane. In 2014, they reinvigorated themselves with a new breakfast and lunch menus. Dogs are able to chill with their owners in the “Bar in the Garden”- a leafy courtyard out the back of the café. A short distance away from Water Front Park, this cool and chilled out café provides water bowls for your pooches while you enjoy your meal. Serving breakfast, brunch, and sandwiches with an Asian Fusion cuisine, this is definitely a place for you and your pup to try.
