I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I had all sorts of animals as pets. My 12 year old shih-tzu passed away from cancer a few years ago and since then, I haven't been able to bring myself to have another pet. A few friends asked me to pet sit for them during their holidays and it felt great to have furry friends around the house again!
When you leave your pets with me, you can be sure that I'll treat them like they're my family.
Our house has a large front yard that can be gated and an enclosed back yard. We are comfortable with pets in the house (my dog used to sleep in our beds) so we are more than happy to have your pet indoors unless you would prefer them outside. Small dogs will be able to access the back yard freely via a doggy door. My mother is retired and will be able to keep your pet company while I'm at work so you can be sure they won't be left on their own for more than 2-3 hours at a time.
