Training Policy

NDIS Sitters and Walkers - All Pet Sitters and Walkers who wish to do NDIS jobs, must:

  1. Complete a worker orientation e-learning module called ‘Quality, Safety and You’, that covers human rights, respect, risk, and the roles and responsibilities of NDIS workers.
  2. Comply with the NDIS Code of Conduct
  3. Lodge any complaints with our in-house complaints management and resolution system to record and manage any complaints you receive, and support NDIS participants or other relevant concerned parties to make a complaint.
  4. Notify the NDIS Commission should a reportable incident occur
  5. All Pet Sitters and Walkers must complete the RSPCA Qld Accredited Pet Care Course
  6. All Pet Sitters and Walkers must have a clear Police Background Check
  7. After this, you will be allocated an “NDIS trained” badge by a PetCloud Customer Support Member.

Non NDIS Sitters and Walkers –

  1. All Pet Sitters and Walkers must complete the RSPCA Qld Accredited Pet Care Course
  2. All Pet Sitters and Walkers must have a clear Police Background Check
  3. Must adhere to PetCloud’s Code of Conduct
